Job Summary:

Exciting new opportunity to start and to join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia.  Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff.  We provide services to 6 rural counties with several locations. We strive to provide the highest quality, evidence-based services in the least restrictive settings.

The selected applicant will have the pleasure of supervising, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff in a residential program.  May supervise a broad range of social services proved to individuals.  Conducts intakes, participates in treatment planning, and performs crisis intervention. Assists in dealing with personal and social problems.  May provide supportive counseling to individuals and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and four years' experience in a social service-related position which includes one year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role Or One year at the lower level (SST 3) or position equivalent.  

Position requires a valid driver's license.
